What wheels did you have when you tryed the 245 tyre mate? I have 235 tyres fitted at the min and my wheels are comps with a ET18 offset an they don't scrubb at the min? Do you think the 245 tyre will be too wide?

245s will fit 8", 8½ and even 9" .

My wheels are 8x18......... reason i did a trial fit of the 245/40 was because Michelin now do the Pilot SuperSport which is even better than the PilotSport 2 but only available in 245/40 and not 245/35.

Because the 40 profile didn't fit i went for PS2's in 245/35........... all good
