  • 071 spark plug question

    Just had these ford Plugs come 4 my Ecos and wondered if you can put them straight in? Or do I need to adjust the gap guys?

    0.6mm to start with on standard ignition. You can use a slightly wider gap on a group a coil and even wider on wasted spark. I use 0.65mm on a group A coil and decent newish leads and havent had any problems.

      I got told it was .55 for group A?

        The come pre-gapped to 25 thou. Basically you want to run the biggest gap you possible can without them misfiring....

            Ok guys just put mine straight in , I'm running over 400 brake so wasn't sure about the gap.
