Can get the fuel level sensor for your tank I would think Carlo and tap the sump for the oil temp.

Don't tap the sump, get a sump plug take off for the sender, I've done this on the MG and it works perfectly

Going back to your fuel sender Carlo, does the stack have its own calibration so you can use whatever is in the car already (if you had one) or do you need to get a stack replacement sender?

Not sure mate i will have to take a look at my tank to see if there is anything in place blanked off for a level sensor but to be honest i wont use the car much so i will most likley just stil £20 in it every time i use it but would be nice to have it working all the same

The former. Providing the sender works off the normal 0-5v from full to empty, then the Stack can be calibrated to suit - you just divide the tank capacity by 10 and then fill it up in those increments telling the stack what each ready amounts to capacity wise. Once programmed, it then knows what to display by the voltage figure sent to the gauge and can extrapolate between the two figures so it ends up pretty accurate (if done correctly).

Cheers Mike a bit more research is needed then to see whether my sender outputs that range, I suppose what also may hamper me is that the wiring goes through a voltage stabilizer first
