As to saying that this doesn't show the strength of it is a bit bizarre, when the shock wave took out the casing in such a manner that is typical of the CWP climbing over each other and splitting the casing (there is no physical damage to the diff). However, it was so severe that the thick-wall casing could not prevent it either.

Unsurprisingly the UJ is now greased EVERY few thousand miles and when the car next is off the road having a few bits done, the mid section is going to Zircotec to have that part ceramic coated to help prevent the same thing happening.
