If you have a afr gauge take it for a drive and see what's it fueling like as it may only be tick over where the problem is

Looks like I may have to bite the bullet then and take it to a mapper.
Mark, I have afr guage but it's not mot'd I need to sort this issue out so I can mot it!
Only other issue thinking of it is the chip was used on an escort so maybe it was running a lamb sensor where as I havnt got mine connected yet?

Tried a good map sensor off a running car and another tps and set it up Dave. Cam timing is spot on checked a few times, I'm starting to think maybe the chip has a lamba sensor wrote in it and I havnt got one connected?

if it was me, id want to do the job in 2 parts at that spec, get the car in and check diagnostics and set up, then map it a base to allow you to run in on, then bring it back once done for some boost.

what inlet manifold is it on?

Hi lee, have to agree with James prob best get someone set it up first as last why not get Adam to take it to your mapper to sort out or trailer it there bud?

Does it rev over 4k or not?

Double check the blue water temp sensor near the dipstick is plugged in properly.
              Cheers, Kev.

That's what il end up doing Dai, going to send him a message when I get chance. Gutting part is iv rebuilt the whole car and built the whole engine and wanted to finish it all myself without taking it some where but giving up now! Least it will be done ready to go then everything else is ready to go.

It revs ok, up to 5400rpm so far on the monitor, iv tried 2 new coolant temp sensors and the plug.
