              Why would it matter if it's dyno-ed in 5th gear?

                I don't know acutally, i asked Mark and he always dyno-ed in 4th, but i believe Romain told me this was a dyno in 5th, not sure tbh...

                  It has to do with torque multiplication from gear ratios. Normally, fourth gear in a five speed is 1:1 whereas fifth gear is overdriven (output shaft spins faster than the engine). I don't claim to understand all of the math, but chassis dyno pulls are traditionally done in the 1:1 gear.
