        I'm sure it won't be hard to find a longer belts

        In theroy dropping the alternator down 40mm vertical the belt length won't change any way

          Your dropping the pivot point, so the same belt length I think pivots the alt up so you don't get the full benefit.

            Got the bracket from anembro all fitted would like a bigger drop but this will do also going wrap the tube

              You almost have full adjustment available to move it further away and down for the cost of 2 belts which would be probably less than £10.
              Every little bit helps, and it looks like you don't have the rear alt heat shield.
