I hpi checked mine and apparantly it went from 48,000 miles to 520,000 miles and back to 60,000 in a year or so but how they expect a car Especialy a cosworth to do 472,000 miles in a couple of years is beyond me.

Yes you could, but there is also another catch as M-Cat also holds information on the vehicle and if you went into a local ford dealer they may be able to tell you the original colour, but again not all information on the cars are held on M-Cat

That's good to know then Ive always wanted a silver one (and a red one, a black one, a JV one and a white one.......) and would be mightily pissed off if i paid top money for one and found out at a later date that it genuinely wasnt originally painted that colour
