What aftermarked ECU Are pepole using today?

I Will eventually get a setup for one of my cars. Not sure wich to go for, since you get allot of diffrent feedback on difrent ecu.

Have Been considering EMS, pectel t2 or 6, autronic( have one for another)++ but unsure what is good today

Needs: (on top of normal ofcourse)
8 injectors
ALS
Water injecton
coil on plug
maybe electric waterpump


And would prefer to be able to keep original 4 lug trigger crankwheel, since balanced with IT...

Link ECU's are good, they cover everthing a modern engine requires.

But its best to talk to your tuner as they will have a prefered ecu.

I have a blank Link Storm G4+ (older version, it has a better case in my opinion) and un-made wiring loom. I will changing to Emtron so the Link will be for sale soon.

Problem is that some tuners sau one type is good, and then talk to another that hate that type i was looking at maxxecu, but mixed feedback, a local tuner and friend use IT and make IT work good IT seems, but have Been told from a few in motorsport that they Are unstable... So get unsure

Decide who you want to map the car and go with their preferred ecu.

AS long as i come with a good ECU that is not "locked", he will Map it he have a few favoritt so he Will be including before i get something, just Nice to know what pepole use and like and dislike. Seems some ECU works very well on one type setup, but not AS good om another..

I would take Emtron over any other Ecu.

I have mapped and seen most aftermarket ecus around and the Emtron is at the top of the tree with the way the whole package works.
Yours I would go with the KV8 version as it suits what you are looking for.

The Autronic is a good ecu but is totally outclassed by the Emtron no hardware changes it about 10years and only a few firmware updates sadly.
I still enjoy mapping them as it’s like a old friend has come home lol.

Hehe yes its old now, but its works, and since have IT, i Will use IT on that one, the other i Will need a new. Emtron looks like a very good ecu
