I can understand why some Escos owners want big power, some just to say they have it, and some who use it, but to throw the purchase price of another Escos for instance in an engine and transmission mods is beyond me. Ive done 50+ track days over the last 9 years and enjoyed being the "underdog" if you like. It was great being able to stick with someone who has a high power cozzy when I was in my RS2000, a very satisfying feeling. So unless you are like Mr. Rainbird who does lots of track per year including 'Ring trips its probably not needed. Ive had my Escos 4 years now and its still a small turbo stage 1 and thats plenty on the road and will stick with lots of very high performance cars to well beyond 100mph and its never broken yet. Stage 1, its the future.
