March 1991. Never been without an RS car since. Sad, I know.

The only reason I joined was because Rainbird wouldn't let me park my car on his group stand at Central Day without one!

Paul knows my feelings on this club!

Jase, thats a silly comment to make.

do we have to go and ask Paul now for your opinions!?

Whatever your feelings on the club, it can only be changed by voicing them . The only way you can voice them and be listened to, is to be an ACTIVE member and attend the AGM, where your opinions WILL be minuted and acted upon!

To be fair, if you want the club to have the required clout to obtain remanufactured parts for the RS range, then you really do need to re-join. This is even more prevalent now that we (Escort owners) will be having an active registrar shortly (whoever that is, they will be better than the current waste of space).

In view of this, I would emplore you all to re-join, as without the required financial backing that this will give the club - it's going nowhere, and without the club, we're fucked, as we will have no combined voice / clout to sort things for the cars .

                              shut up you babbling fool!

I'm just not a 'club' man to be blunt, I love my escort, Period! I have no interest in RS1600i's, RST's etc.......And don't want to hear about them.

My passion is for the escort Cosworth, not the Ford badge........

The friends I have made is the only added bonus IMO
