Old, but very interesting thread. Im googling wolf cosworth to find out more about it, and came across this thread. I recently bought a 90 sapphire wolf 4x4. It has a lot of original Wolf documentation, and as mentioned earlier here, the wolf tuning was expensive.

I have receipts from 91 and 92 for about 44 000 deutsche mark. About 17850 pounds. That was a lot of money back then. Its the same name on all receipts, and also on the original papers from new. Also, the name is written with a marker on the ecu. So im guessing this have many of the wolf mods, but also missing a lot after all these years. I will get all the papers translated, and try to get it back to where it was, and in good condition again. It has surely been neglected for many years.
Mine has stamped 15/90 on the rocker cover. This car was imported to Norway to replace a damaged sapphire cosworth. So it got a new chassinumber by the dvla. Because of this, the x`d out the number on the rocker cover. But i will try to save it, because they didnt touch the wolf stamp.
Not sure what 15/90 means, but maybe someone else has this to? I knw it has the injectors, ecu etc.

    Some pictures:

And if anyone has some genuine wolf parts laying around, im interested(i know its a long shot)

I know it was given a limited edition over 100 cars only from a Saph with 120PS with leather trim and other wheels and spoiler packing. I didnt see any cosworth edition!

Walter Wolf was not the Ford team boss but only the Wolf team boss! The other teams, Eggenberger and Grab were competitiors and didnt buy parts from Wolf, they developed it by themselfs. Also Wolf didnt win the dtm championchip, it was the team Grab with Klaus Ludwig.

just to point out Walter Wolf Racing was 100% a Genuine Ford Works Team, that means Walter was a Works Ford RS500 Team boss, so there yer go parts from Ford Motorsport Cologne built by Wolf and raced in the DTM, i'd love anyone to try opening there own ford dealership and start building race cars then try beating the mighty works Amg Boss Mercedes or BMW MSport & Eggenberger race cars,it would never happen but Wolf did it.... shhh don't tell anyone

Also while i'm at it Walter developed group a parts that other teams did use in RS500's,so yes Eggenberger Grab and a few others used parts Wolf 1st used and thats a fact from the german geezer that made them for Wolf,i love stuff like that,me cozzehs going up in value lol

Hello, the red wolf is mine. It was imported from Germany in 1997, the car is from 1993 and has the complete Wolf kit. He's in Italy now. All Wolf components are shown on the booklet. Nothing has changed. More photos can be found on my instagram profile: rikyvin
