Piston slap? Video added

What exactly is this and is it bad.

When I start my car from cold it sounds like something slapping at the bottom of the engine but goes away quite quickly, just wondered if it was piston slap?

Only really noticed it today yes!!

I could here it more when I'm under he car, top end of engine is as quiet as a mouse.

Still drives perfect in everyway though

Car hasn't had a good run in a couple of weeks, I maybe need to get my brother round to give it a good spanking lol

Put some Fuchs pro race in it, 10w 50
Was told it was good stuff!!

hes running 10/50 silkolene fully synthetic, ester based oil.

Crap stuff, 5w30 hence why I changed it.
Although there was only about 500 miles done on that crappy stuff!

If the noise goes away its more than likely piston slap, is it a 2wd car ?, if it was big ends it wouldnt go away.

No still 4wd mate, yea it seems to go away quite quickly!
Then it really is quiet with that new oil in cha Ching!!

Ignore what i said about 2wd i forget what forum i was typing on for a minute i thought you was on about a 2wd saph !!, i'd investigate it more if i was you just incase.
