The noise seems to deep (as in sound) to be a tappet I reckon

100% lifter i would say after listening to it at home on my pc, doesnt even last 20 seconds and it quietens down i wouldnt worry. Looks bloody clean by by the look of the wheels and brake caliper, anymore pics.

As per my post, and I watched video on my phone.

Tappet sticking would be a more high pitch quicker ticking noise.

Stinky, this is no dig at you as I was new to cars once and had limited knowledge, but from your posts i dont getvthe impression your mechanically minded. So don't assume it's something little.

It would t be the cheapest thing to fix.

What's mileage? Have you recently run it low on oil? Or even put too much in?

but no I wouldn't drive it.

I'd only run it now for some one in the know to listen and potentially diagnose it.

Cracking looking Escos though.
