What's mileage? Have you recently run it low on oil? Or even put too much in?

but no I wouldn't drive it.

I'd only run it now for some one in the know to listen and potentially diagnose it.

    Cracking looking Escos though.
Lol yea you would be right about the mechanics, I'm useless!!

Mileage is 69,000, the car hadn't been driven for 7-8 years before I bought it so maybe that has something to do with it

    Just changed the oil,last week.

Need to get it checked out then

Not really, there are people in N Ireland that can help.

Speak to mark king and Paul Rs of here they might be able to point you in the right direction.

If it is the little end bearing any idea of cost involved to sort it?

Such a bloody shame as the car is running absolutely beautiful apart from a little sounds for 1 minute when started!!

Almost wish I was slightly def so I couldn't hear it lol, sorry that's an awful thing to say

Lo that's wot I just feel like doing, just driving it til my tax runs out and worry about it over winter.

What the hell would of caused this if it is the small bearing as the car has an extensive service record and regular oil changes

ive heard lots like that and they ran for years before going pop so i would just use it until it bothers you too much

i would repair it for 2k with a mini engine rebuild
