I ran a concentric for years with no bearing failure on an AP twin plate.
I will be running one on a triple plate this time. You must have had the wrong bearing or a crap concentric system.

I did look at fitting an uprated bearing the real nice ones were coming in at the 300 pound mark, so I just went back to side push and it works fine for me.
