That Golf is absolutely fantastic. I had a VR6, and loved it. It's nice to see people still have deep pockets to restore cars to their former glory. When I was having my car re-sprayed, they were restoring an original Fait 500, not the modern one you get today. When I asked how much that was going to cost they said probably around £30K when finished.

We've got a big build hopefully coming in during the next couple of months. A 1970 911 which is fully stripped. Needs a bit of work on the shell before full paint and then total nut and bolt rebuild, but with the most powerful NA Air Cooled engine they made from a late 993. The guy is saving up to start the build, but the value of early 911's now means the spend will be well justified.
