Well I've today recieved a set of the newer style Koni's off Mike ( Thanks fella )

and the bottom mounting is a far better design and has a proper shoulder for the location where it sits on the hub carrier.

Will get some pics in the morning.

hmmmm iTT are a submersible pump manufacture, seals must be good on these now then!

they look the same as mine cosmo,make sure you tighten the pinch bolts very tight as i reckon thats half the problem,if they arent tight enough they allow the hub to move when hitting a pot hole or similar resulting in the kinked body

Interesting thread!

Fitted mine last night and its sitting with the shoulder a good distance above the hub and the car hasn't sat how I wanted ( I went for the lower Ahmeds ) and even after a good run tonight it's still level front to back.
I'm going to remove the pinch bolt and let the shocks sit on the shoulder and if it sits fine them I'm taking them out tomorrow and making the hole bigger.
