      On the dyno today and one main problem with stock intercooler over 50c intake temp so killing power and Tq is a bit down on what I was expecting and as this has vernier pullies I think cam timing is a bit out lowering TQ,

      I was expecting TQ to look more like this at peak TQ

      The Escort is running 25psi boost.

        Just checked the 420ftlb one was running 2psi more boost in the midrange which will pict the TQ up a touch.

                Hello.

                Sorry i didn´t get it. What turbo is used for the dyno in post 62?

                I would also be very interested in the efr 7163.
                Would it be the most responsive with the lowest boost threshold that achieves 500 bhp?

                  The turbo used is a 7064 and this will be the best for 500hp.

                      If you are talking about Justin 3rd it has a version of the S300 but I am not sure which one and his has a diff manifold that boosts later due to the desgin of it.

                          Mine has between 200 to 400rpm diff over his in boost response and using a version of the EFR suited to what power you want and what response as I have 4 diff version of it suited to diff levels or performance.

                              Myself I would use the Emtron KV8 and use all its options with sensors on the engine to cover all the safety features or if budget limited the new Emtron SL4 will will cover the same the only diff being no direct to sensor wideband in it needs a 0 to5v in from a meter to cover full closed loop wideband.
                              You do need to go in one as the first time you drive one you will be stunned by the response, Power is very easy to do response is the bit thats hard to get.

                                Its the gear change you notice the most as the seco d you floor it its on boost stright away in my case 2.3 bar
