  • I'm happy with paying deposit of £300

    • I would be more than happy to put down the £300 deposit

      • I agree too!
I think we can make 1 or 2 type of orders regarding the sizes (8, 9 & 18, 19) so everyone can make his choice!

Regarding the finishing I would prefer to receive them complete. As a group I think the cost of finishing will be reduced too.

        • Ok that's fair. Below are payment options. Let's go for a 300 GBP down payment for 4 wheels, first come first serve, max is 30. Cleanest way to do this I think is to use my company (Tigerworx in the Netherlands) account, then you will receive an official receipt of your deposit by email. You can withdraw whenever you want, next in line is more than happy to take your place, and I will give you your money back.

          Two payment options:
          * Paypal: verkoop@tigerworx.nl
          * IBAN: NL73RABO0383473497, bic: RABONL2U, company name Tigerworx BV, street address: 136 De Hank, city: Leusden, postal code: 3832JM (this is also my home address when I'm not in the UK)

Please put this info in the comments or send it to me via PM including your real name:
          - Your email address (to send you the official receipt)
          - Your forum name
          - Your preference (for example 18x8 or 18x9 or 19x9)

With respect to the last, my base assumption is that you all want 18x8s. But if there is a strong preference for another size, let's go for that.

I will keep the stats in an excel and publish regularly here.

          • I know it's early days but if many don't make the first 30 would you consider a second batch in time

                  • The worlds gone mad, people talking about spending potentially £1500 on a set of wheels that have had no official testing done that I can find, from a company that sounds like it makes porn movies and even offers a 19" version.
The quality is questionable according to some people who own them, I'm fucked if I'd run 300 let alone 400Bhp+ through them, and its only £1100 for set of Comp TH1882's, yeah, crack on......... and hope they don't

                        • Glad someone decided to say something as it looks fishy as hell to me. I know the work that goes into castings and the problems that can happen from batch to batch. When peoples lives are at risk you need parts from recognised/ approved suppliers. one of my customer once bought castings from China instead of me due to price. parts should have been completed in 6 months. 2 years later they are still awaiting delivery as everything to date is scrap.

I must point out not all low cost companies are like this but you need to control them with your own team and keep on top of them. Or go through a 3rd party.

Ok guys, having spent over 20 years on forums, in a way, I expected this backfire. Somehow initiative is always criticized. But it is still making me extremely sad...

Here is just a simple guy from the Netherlands that happens to work a lot in the UK with a simple love for Escort Cosworths 18" wheels AND the skills AND the means to reproduce them in China.

(see my linkedin profile here: https://nl.linkedin.com/in/jandirkkruit if people want a 38 year old face to spit on, or my 7 year old company registration at the chamber of commerce: http://www.kvk.nl/orderstraat/produc...rigq=tigerworx)

But hey; I don't even feel like defending myself. Before people really check carefully they draw their conclusions looking for some kind of exciting story here. Sorry folks, there is none.

Just good intentions that will cost me over a 100 hours and about 18k GBP to get this right, and the only thing in return would be a bit of respect from fellow Cossie lovers, and my own set of 18"s of course.

On top of that: I didn't even ask for a down payment; and in fact: I don't need one. You guys asked for it to get a 'fair distribution' of the 30 sets....

I'm really disappointed here and not in the mood to continue with this.

                              • Jan look if you had been on here a while, knew people etc then its a bit different,i dont think your out to do anything wrong but if you did this off your own back you could sell the wheels for more anyway.

                                dont get pissed off...
