If you are refering to the diameter of the arm in de ball joint area then I think it should be 46 mm. Standard Sierra’s have 41 mm, but my Cosworth is 46 mm.

On the 46 mm arms I had the ball joint replaced by a spherical SKF bearing which can be replaced if it’s worn.

I wonder if someone like kinzy fabrications could machine new ball joints and fit them into the standard arms?

Yes. I kept my old ones to do it.
asked local company doing such things and they said they can do everything.

Comp brake still really, most don’t have the same size ball joint but then again do any Cossie owners need to worry about wear these days? Most aren’t used to the extent the used to be due to value etc Just MOT mine other day and they’re still pretty good after 10 years. Will see how they continue after June Germany trip lol

They’re class, originally made by MK. Rose jointed on both sides so less likely to wear out as quickly as conventional ball joints. But price VS longevity of life, the comp brake still the more sensible option IMO
